Farmer's Market

Ever since we opened the Nursery, we have had the vision of bringing quality products to our customers. Part of this idea was to incorporate more than just selling you plants. We wanted to make this retail outlet an integral part of your life. We wanted to extend our garden to you. Beginning in early 2009, we have been growing six different types of melons. Once we taste-tested our first crop, we knew we were onto something great. We began contacting potential buyers, and eventually met with the local buyers for Whole Foods. They loved our melons as much as we did, and have been selling them since.

With the success of the melons, we have opened our minds to growing quality products. The taste of a local pesticide-free melon cannot be beaten! We have already began raising naturally fed cows in a circular process. The cows roam our huge plot of land grazing on our pesticide-free alfalfa, fertilize the land, then move on. We come in behind them and plant even more alfalfa for them to enjoy. This process keeps the cows not only well fed, but also in great shape. To nobody's surprise, our cows tasted excellent.

With two huge successes under our belt, we are ready for what the future will hold. Apples, cherries, plums, peaches, nectarines... The ideas are endless.

On Location

It is our dream to provide our customers with a weekly farmers market on site where vendors just like us can sell their products. We are currently hoping to have this segment of our business up and running by the spring of 2010. If you might be interested in becoming a vendor, please contact me here.
